I am a member of the Oshawa Vikings Rugby Club. I play the position of hooker and prop. I attended the IMART International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament held in County Cork Ireland in June of 2022. The Vikings represented Canada and came second out of 24 other countries. The World Cup Finalists had only been together as a team, practicing tackling since January of 2022 (though many players played previously when it was flag rugby). It was an incredible experience and I am looking forward to competing in 2025 which will be held in either Argentina or Italy.
